// HOW IT WORKS

YOU DON'T CHASE JOBS. JOBS FIND THE ROSTER.

  1. GET ON THE ROSTER

    One structured WhatsApp message: CV, work samples, rate card. That's the whole application.

  2. GET VETTED

    The Lab reviews your samples and your standard profile. We may call a reference or book you on a small job first.

  3. GET MATCHED

    When a client brief lands, the Lab picks the right crew for that specific job — skill, location, rate fit.

  4. GET PAID

    Job-based rates, agreed before the shoot, paid on delivery. No invoicing gymnastics.

THE HONEST PART: rates are job-based — every production is quoted against its budget, and crew are matched to it. The crew who stay flexible on rates are the crew who get booked most often. If your rate card is rigid, you'll hear from us less. That's not a threat; it's just the maths of the roster.

YOUR CV

Keep it short. Name, base location, gear you own, productions you've worked on (role + year), references. PDF or a clean WhatsApp message — we don't worship formatting.

WORK SAMPLES

Links, not files. YouTube (unlisted is fine), Vimeo, Drive — anything we can open. 2–5 pieces that show what you actually did. Say what YOUR role was on each.

RATE CARD

Your day rate and/or project rate in KES. Flexible ranges welcome — say so. (See the honest part above.)

// THE STANDARD

ONE PHOTO. PLAIN TRUTH.

  1. Plain background. A wall. Not a gradient, not a garden, not a club.

  2. Natural light. Face a window or stand in open shade. No ring-light drama.

  3. No filters. No AI enhancement. We need to recognize you on set. Beauty filters, skin smoothing and AI-generated photos get profiles rejected — no exceptions.

  4. Shoulders up, facing camera. Like a passport photo, but you're allowed to smile.

  5. Send it as a photo on WhatsApp. That's it.
